The hotel Miramonti formula village, lies at the foot of the Corno Piccolo del Gran Sasso d'Italia, at an altitude of 1480 meters asl.
Starting point for trekking with medium and high mountains: the rounds of shelters, Garibaldi in the 2250 meters at an altitude of 2450 m Franchetti, a trip to the Calderone glacier at an altitude of 2550, the climb at altitude 2912 of the Gran Sasso of Italy.
In winter the Traversata Bassa from Campo Imperatore to Prati of Tivo, going to the Duke of Abruzzi refuge at an altitude of 2350 m, Passo della Portella at an altitude of 2450 m and the Val Maone to Prati di Tivo.
To Prati di Tivo there is a cable car that reaches an altitude of 2000 m "The Madonna", a double chairlift, a quadruple chairlift and a double ski lifts (for a green run and the ski school).
We recall that the "Black" of "La Madonnina" is one of the most spectacular tracks for the most demanding snowboarders.
In summer the Miramonti offers a very respectable sports center: 5 tennis courts, 3 basketball, 3 volleyball, soccer and 3 archery.
